Info for "apistomaniaków" (due to Ruki for the tip!). Two new species of cichlids of the Amazon tributaries have been described at the beginning of September.
Dicrossus foirni comes from the famous Rio Negro basin. These small cichlids reach the turn - 7 cm for males and 4.5 cm for the female.
Pielęgniczka Dicrossus brewing is endemic of the Rio Tapajos, and is even smaller in size than its predecessor - males reach 6 cm and 3.5 cm in females.
